BGGTS is privileged to partner with the Special Care School, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Ramachandrapuram, Hyderabad as part of our ongoing CSR initiatives.
Established in 1979 by the Ladies Welfare Centre, BHEL with support from St. Ann’s School Management, the school has been a beacon of hope for differently-abled children including those with visual, hearing, intellectual, and developmental challenges such as Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. Under the esteemed leadership of Smt. Shanthi Raja, President, Ladies Welfare Centre, BHEL, the school continues to provide holistic education, care, and empowerment.
Beyond academics, the school equips children with pre-vocational and on-the-job training, computer education, and adult independent living programs to nurture their confidence and cognitive skills. It was truly inspiring to witness the children showcase their talents through vibrant cultural performances during the event.
To further enhance their learning and vocational skills, empowering them towards greater independence, BGGTS sponsored essential equipment including:
- Printing & photocopy machines
- Paper cutter, lamination machine, spiral binder
- Sewing machine, revolving chairs, almirahs
- RO system
This equipment was officially inaugurated on 11th August 2025 in the presence of the BGGTS Board of Directors:
