BGGTS has sponsored two Rice Silo’s each with a capacity of 150 Tonnes, for the Kandi Kitchen of Akshaya Patra as a part of its CSR program. These silos will help meet the storage needs for rice grains.
Akshaya Patra foundation is a not profit organization dedicated in eliminating the classroom hunger through its mid-day meal program. One of it’s large, centralized Kitchens is in Kandi, Telangana, where it provides 100,000 meals daily. The installation of these Rice Silo’s will not only optimize storage space but also reduce labour costs and enhance food safety for children
